Kareena gives Tweedy Cole's party a miss
B-Town stars usually don’t miss out on an opportunity to get clicked with pop stars and international celebs especially at places as prolific as Cannes. Kareena Kapoor’s happy being an exception. She missed out on meeting Cheryl Ann ‘Tweedy’ Cole at the international film festival in spite of an invitation from the British singer. Says a source close to Kapoor, “Bebo was to attend the international film festival. ‘Tweedy’ Cole was already there to perform a 30-minute set at a party thrown by luxury jewellery firm de Grisogono on May 18 at the Hotel du Cap.
The singer had performed in front of a star-studded crowd including Naomi Campbell and fashion heir Margherita Missoni. The organisers heard that Cole was keen on meeting the Indian actress and an invite for the A-List event was sent out to her.
